First heard The Beatles: When I was 11. My mother recorded the Paul McCartney documentary ‘Put It There’. Sparks flew and I had to watch it everyday (for a while).
Fave album: Revolver
Fave song: ‘For No One’, it’s simple, beautiful melody and it’s wonderful lyrics and horn solo epitomize the feeling you have when your greatest love leaves you.
Fave Beatle: Paul, as a musician, for his good looks and for his personality.
Fave solo albums: Ram (McCartney) and Tripping the Live Fantastic (McCartney), probably because that’s the first time I heard Macca live. Driving Rain is also memorable.
Fave solo Beatle song: ‘Here today’
Fave Beatle moment: The vibe at a Macca concert and playing the songs with the Mal Evans Memorial Band.
Ambition/Dream: Meeting Paul and playing (music) with him.
